Finally! I have been looking for a nice cel of Cain with brown hair for a while now. Even though the later versions are far more popular, I have always preferred the original designs of the Nightwalker characters. Someday I may get a cel of blonde Cain, but brunette Cain was definitely higher on my wish list.

This cel comes from when Cain and Shido are fighting on the suspension bridge at night. Cain has just mortally wounded Riho and is distracting Shido from trying to help her. He even warns Shido that his centuries of experience make him much more powerful. Shido is so angry that he goes after him anyways. After goading Shido on for a while, he eventually lets Shido “defeat” him once he knows it is too late for Riho. Poor Shido does not find out how much he had been manipulated until much later in the show.
