This cel, and the one of Sakura’s dad came as a set. I love the deep blue colors of the backgrounds most of all. At first I was a little confused. When I bought them, I assumed that they came from episode twenty-two, when Sakura was chasing the Sleep card. It turns out that they are from the end of the third season when Eriol has put the entire city into a deep sleep.

Some time after buying this cel, Sensei told me that the two characters are Terada-sensei and Rika-chan. I can’t believe I missed that. I just assumed they were some students at the college where Sakura’s dad teaches. This was mainly because it appears in the next frame or so of showing her dad asleep in his office.
