Celaeno, the harpy is attacking Mommy Fortuna after the unicorn has freed her from the carnival cage. I have wanted a cel of her for some time. Wouldn’t you know that just when I had the funds to buy her, another Last Unicorn wish list cel becomes available. Fortunately, the auction for the second one closed rather low, so I was able to get both.

I love how Peter S. Beagle uses the Harpy and the Unicorn to represent the truth. The Unicorn is a beautiful reality while the Harpy is an ugly one. You can’t have one without the other. They are “two sides of the same magic”.
