Okay, I really got misled by the sellers scan. The smaller image is the seller’s scan which included a green piece of paper as the background. What I thought was an old faded-to-gray cat turned out to be still orange in person.

This cat is Mi-Kun from the second season of Battleship Yamamoto (Starblazers). He is the pet cat of Dr. Sado.
