There are so two reasons why I like this cel. First of all, it has such a pretty background. I love the way the light is coming through the trees. The second, is that it shows such a pivotal point in the life of the main character. This is a flashback to when he was a younger teen (he is 17 in the present). He is looking down at the bodies of a man and a woman he has just murdered. He then has another flashback to when he was a child and found the bodies of his dead parents. This is the moment when he turned on the people who made him into a killing machine and changed his name from Number 43 to Yu Ominae.
