This cel consists of 2 layers. The first layer is of Queen Tahomine glaring. The second layer is her veil. I was confused when I first got this cel because I could not figure out how they made her solid white veil appear transparent in the movie. Since then, I have learned how it was done. The image is a result of a double exposure. Each layer was shot separately but without moving the film forward between shots. They even calculated how long to expose each layer to get just the right amount of transparency.
