I enjoyed the character design of Caroline a lot. It’s so interesting. I love the way she can blend into the background and then send out spikes to attack. In this scene, she is hidden in a tree getting ready to attack D. She is really the only one of the mercenaries hired by Carmella that is not defeated by D or the other vampire hunters. She is only killed by chance by a bolt of lightning. (No, I do not buy that the lightning strike to the knife was a clever tactical move)
