I was quite thrilled to see this cel up for auction. It was rather pricey, but I was surprised that I was the only bidder. This cel has many elements in it that I love. First of all, its monochrome and in an unusual color as well. I have seen many monochrome blues and reds, but very few greens. It came with the matching production background (always a big plus in my eyes). It has a beautiful image of Toya’s and Sakura’s mother. I have been tempted by several shots of her, but this is one of the prettiest I’ve seen so far. Finally, it shows my favorite character, Toya, as a child. This is from when he remembers his mother teaching him to play the piano.
