I just could not resist this cel. It contains so many of my favorite qualities. Takaya’s face is shadowed beautifully, the expression on his face is so touching, and the background is a wonderful dark blue with incredible detail. The character designs for the OVAs are much prettier than for the TV show. I guess I’m going to have to keep an eye out for the production backgrounds of this show.
