I really did not expect to buy a forth cel from this show. I told myself I wasn’t too impressed with the opening sequence and that it wouldn’t be worth it. I saw this cel on the dealer’s update and something about it as a still shot instead of a sequence really appealed to me. Maybe it was because the nice big red moon seems more centered. Maybe its because the storm clouds aren’t as overwhelming in the rilezu as it is in the screen capture.

I was quite stunned when this cel arrived. It is huge. What makes it deceiving is that the proportions would suggest a smaller image. The two characters look small in the cel, but they really measure 25 centimeters tall. That’s nearly the LENGTH of a standard TV cel (26.5 centimeters). It took three scans just to show the whole thing.
